Welcome to another exclusive interview with Christopher Hitchens. Today’s interview begins by with discussion of the last Senate Election in Massachusetts and dropping troops on the presidential palace in Haiti. As always, we’re very lucky to have Mr. Hitchens, Columnist for Vanity Fair, Author of Best Seller, God is not Good and his memoir Hitch-22.
Although it was a very shocking result for the Senate Election in Massachusetts, Mr Hitchens was quite calm and seemed to be unconcerned about the result. Yes, for the last 47 years this seat was under control by the Democratic Senator, Ted Kennedy, until his death in 2009. Breaking history, now this seat is help by Republican Senator Scott Brown. Don’t miss listening Hitchens’ analysis on why a Republican one Kennedy’s seat.
Shocking but true, Barack Obama invaded Haiti and the left is all quiet as to this extraordinary exercise in presidential prerogative. Was this invasion unguided by, unauthorized by simply unilateral on the part of the President? Saying Yes, Mr Hitchens also mentioned some points behind the reason of keeping quiet by the left. Like there’s no oil there, neither seeking any international figure nor with the mandate of United Nations like Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mr Hitchens also described their NGBA project in Haiti with Richard Dawkins and some others. Basically NGBA – Non Believers Giving Aid, is led by Richard Dawkins through his website. Was it called humanity to help a specific group or community, Mr Hitchens? Listen to get the reaction of Christopher Hitchens on this tricky question by Hugh Hewitt.
