Hugh Hewitt starts this Wednesday with Christopher Hitchens, who recently discovered that Kurdistan is a place of peace and marked it as one of his favorite places. Surprising but true there hasn’t been a bomb there since 2004 and no fighting between Kurds and other minorities. Hitchens also gives a short tour guide on how to best see Kurdistan.
How is the life in Baghdad right now? Hitchens says, “life is becoming intolerable there.” The awful thing is some of it’s happening as we speak. Almost anyone in Baghdad who has any resources of any sort has moved to Jordan, Syria, Iran and anywhere else to get out. Are we comparing this issue with the American withdrawal from Vietnam and the area around Cambodia? Listen to hear Hugh and Christopher’s thoughts.
